Psychiatry and Therapy

Diane Blumenthal, MSW, LCSW

Taking the first step to contact a therapist when you're struggling with emotional and relational issues can be difficult. It's important to find a therapist you can feel comfortable with. With many years of experience as a practicing therapist since 1982, I hope my compassionate and direct style of therapy will be the right fit for you. In your first visit, we will discuss what you're struggling with and how my interactive style of therapy can help you progress at a pace that is right for you.

Over the years I've worked with children, teens and adults as individuals, couples and families. My approach brings relief when struggling with anxiety and PTSD using relaxation visualizations, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Mindfulness. My style teaches new coping strategies to those struggling with depression or relationship conflicts. I also work with ADHD, adoption, codependency, grief/loss, divorce adjustment, blended family issues, parenting and women's issues. Academically, my undergraduate degrees are a BA in Psychology and BSSW Social Work from Minnesota State University- Mankato. I completed my Masters of Social Work at University of Wisconsin- Milwaukee.

My specialties include extensive experience working with children, teens and families. I provide Christian counseling for those seeking a Christian therapist. Daytime and evening hours are available. I look forward to talking with you about how we can work together to help you through the challenges you're experiencing. Let's partner together to help you achieve the growth you're seeking.
