Taking the first step to contact a therapist when you're struggling with emotional and relationship issues can be difficult. It's important to find a therapist you can feel comfortable working with. As a therapist in practice since 1982, I hope my compassionate and direct style of therapy will be the right fit for you. In your first session we will discuss what you're struggling with and how my interactive style of therapy can help you progress at a pace that's right for you.

I see teens and adults as individuals, couples and families. My approach brings relief from anxiety using relaxation visualizations, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Mindfulness. My style teaches new coping strategies when struggling with depression or relationship conflicts. I work with ADHD, adoption, grief/loss, divorce adjustment, blended family issues, parenting, women's issues and illness/cancer.

My specialties include extensive experience working with women, teens and families. I provide Christian counseling for those seeking a Christian therapist.
