Finding Peace and Purpose
A Personalized Approach to Mental Health
I work to provide a greater understanding of how one's past influences the present and how to make changes for the future. As a Licensed Clinical Psychologist I specialize in anxiety disorders, depression and other mood disorders, sexual addiction (I am CSAT), job stress, relational distress, parenting issues and past abuse. I use various treatment methods including Behavioral therapy, CBT and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and certified in the Safe & Sound Protocol (SSP) for trauma of various kinds.
Clients describe me as: Down-to-earth, approachable, compassionate and I move at a pace that is comfortable for them. My clients have said, "I never feel ashamed or 'less valuable' when I disclose information to you" "I have been able to process past pain, put it into perspective, forgive and move forward."
I am available Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays from 8am-10:30pm and some Saturday mornings. I will provide a short phone consultation before setting up the first appointment to help you determine if I would be a good fit for you.
